Y’all know I love me some basics. Honestly as much as I love a bargain, I will 100% invest in basics. In the case of today’s blog post though, I’ve got some great basics that are also SUPER affordable. Its a win/win for your Wednesday thanks to Walmart!

Let’s start with these white shorts. They run true to size and I love the length on them. They have a great amount of stretch but they don’t feel baggy… here for that.

I love them paired with this stripe tank from Walmart and you’d better believe that this is one of those that I want in every color. It’s also true to size and the quality is amazing!

I really like ordering from Walmart because they offer free two day shipping for orders over $35. If I’m struggling to get up to the $35 (a good problem to have when buying clothes!), I’ll just add toiletries to my order.

Hey, hey! Well, after a quick poll of the people in my Instagram stories,  y’all let me know that while you would like to see both shorts and dresses… you wanted dresses first!

Most of these dresses are nursing friendly and as a bonus, I was able to actually try a bunch of them on. I love being able to see things in person and I know y’all do too. I’ll add the try on to my stories but wanted to go ahed and share these in the meantime.

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE getting ideas together for Father’s Day! I just think this is a fun one to shop for and with a little creativity, the gifts given can really hit the mark.

Even though the fathers in my life aren’t the easiest people to shop for because they pretty much give ZERO ideas of what they would like, sometimes they drop hints without knowing it.

For instance….

Matt has been talking for a few months now about wanting to get the Ring Doorbell. His dad just recently had one installed at his grandfather’s house so he could keep tabs on who was coming to the door. It’s SUCH a cool concept and gives a lot of peace of mind. QVC has it on special right now for $169 so it’s a great time to give it a try! I now this is something he wouldn’t just buy for himself so I’m really excited to get it for him!

One of the things my father in law enjoys is grilling for the family. I thought this grilling set would be perfect for him since I noticed last time we got together that his set was looking a little ratchet. I also found a fun bocce ball set that we may or may not have tried out ourselves that I think Matt’s dad would love to have on hand for family functions. The Godfrey Family loves a game night!

My dad is by far the hardest to buy for. He’s simple and laid back and rarely ever mentions anything he wants. He’s always been one to take great care of his vehicles so we decided to update his car detailing set with this one from QVC. It’s a great value and I think my dad is going to love it.

Maybe the man in your life isn’t into cars or game night but you may want to let him try something that’s more of a splurge like a go pro! QVC has different go pro options plus accessories so everything you’d need is right there.

Regardless of what you choose to give Dad, the gift of time is always the best addition. So take a minute this Father’s Day to not only give a gift, but invest in the men that have invested so much into you!
